Course Fees 2008/2009
The fees
for a 20 hour course are:
Full
fee: £55 (£2.75 per hour)
Concession A: £49.50
Concession B: Free
Concession A: you may claim this concession if you are
receiving one of the following:
Incapacity
Benefit;
Invalid Care Allowance;
Severe Disablement Allowance;
Disability Living Allowance;
Attendance Allowance.
Concession B: if you receive any of these benefits you will
not pay a fee:
Jobseeker’s
Allowance; Income
Support; Working Tax
Credit (with a household income below £15,050 a year); Housing
Benefit;
Means-tested Council Tax Benefit; Pension
Guarantee Credit.
If you are
an unwaged dependant of someone who receives one of the
means-tested benefits listed you will not pay a fee
16-18 year
olds will not pay a fee
Asylum
seekers in receipt of the equivalent of a means-tested
benefit (assistance under the terms of the 1999 Immigration
& Asylum Act) you will not pay a fee
If you
are claiming Concession B please bring evidence of your
benefit status to the first session.
Evidence
Requirements
In
order to be eligible for free childcare it is essential that
you provide evidence of either your benefit status or a low
household income (below £15,050 a year).
As
evidence of a low income we will need to see one of the
following:
Wage slips
(3 months)
P60
Tax Credit
Notification
Bank
Statements (3 months)
